Moving is not always a fun process, but a good moving company can help everything run a whole lot smoother.
Making moving day easier for the customer is one of the many things Nick Franta strives for with his business Quality Moving and Storage.
?We offer a full service company,? Franta said. ?We don?t want to tell people there is anything that we can?t move for them.?
Franta began serving the Twin Cities area out of its office in Edina, Minn., in 1996 along with his father, Dave. About seven years ago, Franta decided to open another office here in Hudson in order to serve more of the metro area.
?We started out with one truck and we would meet in a parking lot with a few workers. Now we have seven trucks and 15 to 20 workers,? Franta said. ?The Hudson branch is an extension of the Minnesota office. We make around two to three moves a day in Hudson.?
Besides the Twin Cities area, Quality Moving and Storage works on moves up and down the St. Croix River. In recent years, the company has started to do more and more regional moves across the state of Wisconsin.
?We offer a one shot move where we load, drive and unload on one trip which allows us to cut down on prices,? Franta said. ?We also offer 100 percent insurance coverage on the move instead of the 60 cents per pound that some other companies give their customers.?
Being as professional as possible is very important to Franta and all of the company?s employees. They will do whatever it takes to transfer any item the customer needs moved, be it a piano or any other fragile or expensive item.
?We feel that we offer a great service for a great price and that our service stands alone in what we do,? Franta said.
